Caterina de Medici was an Italian noblewoman who was Queen of France in the 16th century. She had an extraordinary personality and charm. When she moved to France, she brought with her some Florentine perfumes. Giglio di Firenze (The Lily of Florence) was her favourite. It was a wonderful success.
