“After five years of starting the perfume collection, I had received literally hundreds of requests for a cologne and could no longer continue simply saying no! But I didn't want to follow the classic formula for cologne and wanted to create one that would also be distinctly Ormonde Jayne! I included some of our ‘trademark' oils, iris, pink pepper and cedarwood and it is now our best seller. The name was combined from two cities filled with romantic magical legends, Samarkand and Isfahan.”
