At the spice market, I was struck by the elegance of the shopkeepers. Dressed all in white amongst mountains of shimmering spices, they seemed like princes. Their beauty, and aroma of cardamom, inspired me to create the woody, spicy note, Marie Salamagne, Perfumer.
