Opôné is the name of an ancient harbour in the south of the 'Cape of Scents', now called Cape Gardafui in Somalia, Africa. It traded spices in antiquity. Opôné evokes ancient galleys laden with spices and perfumed wood, setting sail for the nearby gardens of the Orient.
