Oud Marrakech

Oud Marrakech is olfactory photography of the medina of Marrakech where, at sunset, a young water seller makes his way through the spice merchants, the henna tattoo artists, the elderly snake charmers and through the crowd in the piazza Jamaa el-Fna. From the top of a terrace where he hurriedly went up, he now listens to the voice of the muezzin which spreads in the piazza. He closes his eyes and smiles. It's the chant of his father. It's the sound of his story.
