Lemon verbena is such an uplifting, fresh and bright scent. I have recently discovered that verveine was Prince Imperial, Napoleon Eugene Bonaparte's favourite scent. A bottle was found amongst his possessions on the battlefield where he died fighting as an English soldier in 1879. James Heeley
