The Carlyle is a favourite New York spot for Kavi and I. We have stayed there multiple times and have always loved it for its timeless, understated elegance. From the caged elevators, to Bemelmans, to the storied suites, The Carlyle holds the flame for what New York was and what it still is today. The aroma of the original soap (and now our perfume) takes you back through corridors of epic all-nighters where actors, politicians and posh people rubbed elbows over fine drinks, David Seth Moltz, Perfumer.
