In the early 40s, Michel Morsettti took over as a perfumer. Keen to remain loyal to the House's founder, he immersed himself in reading the precious notebooks that had been left to him. The Latin name acacia farnesiana provided the inspiration for its name. It is reminiscent of Rome's Palazzo Farnese and the art of gentle and refined Mediterranean living.
